Questions

Do I need to pick a time slot?

Yes. The Brazilian park sells every ticket for a specific day and entry time, online only. You can stay after your slot; the time is for entering.

What ID do I show at the gate?

The ticket is issued in your name. Bring the same photo ID you used to buy it, usually your passport.

Is the Devil's Throat included?

From the Brazilian side you see it from the walkway at the end of the Falls Trail, which every ticket includes. The Argentine train and platform above it need the Argentine ticket.

Can I buy the Brazilian ticket at the entrance?

No. The Brazilian park sells tickets exclusively online, with the day and time of the visit chosen at purchase. The only exception it mentions is a support desk at the visitor centre for purchases that failed online.

What does the Brazilian time slot mean?

It is your entry time. You enter the park during that slot and can stay until closing. Date and time can be changed on the park's site with the login you used to buy.

Which ID do I need at the Brazilian gate?

A photo ID matching the name on the ticket; for foreign visitors that is the passport. Several tickets can be bought under one name, but each visitor shows their own ticket and their own ID.

What does the Brazilian ticket include?

Internal transport both ways, about twelve kilometres between the visitor centre and the Falls Trail, the trail itself, the lifts, the walkway and the main viewpoints, plus five more routes in the park: the cycling route, the São João circuit, the Poço Preto path, the Bananeiras path and the Canafístula trail.

What is the sunrise entry on the Brazilian side?

A separate, limited experience that lets you into the park before regular opening: Wednesday to Saturday, boarding at 5:30 at the visitor centre, with breakfast included and the right to stay all day. It sells out; book it on the park's site.

How long does the Brazilian side take?

Half a day for most visitors: the bus in, an hour to an hour and a half on the Falls Trail with its viewpoints and the Devil's Throat walkway, the lifts, lunch at Porto Canoas and the bus out. The other five routes are extra time if you want them.
