Questions

Can I come back a second day?

Yes. Show your first-day ticket at the ticket office and the second consecutive day costs 50% less. The park applies it at the gate, not online.

Why is the price shown in pesos?

Because that is the currency the park sets it in. The USD figure is an indicative conversion at the rate and date shown next to it; it moves with the exchange rate.

How long do I need on the Argentine side?

Plan a full day: the two circuits, the train and the Devil's Throat walkway together take most visitors five to seven hours.

Where do I buy the Argentine ticket?

Online, starting from the concessionaire's site, which completes the purchase on the national parks administration's system; or at the gate ticket office, in Argentine pesos, by card or cash. The park recommends buying online to avoid queues.

How far ahead can I buy the Argentine ticket?

Sales open thirty days before the visit date. The ticket is valid only for the day and time slot you select and cannot be changed after purchase; in case of force majeure it keeps its validity for seventy-two hours.

Is there a discount for a second day in Argentina?

Yes. Show your first-day ticket at the ticket office and the second consecutive day costs fifty percent less. The park applies it at the gate.

What does the Argentine ticket include?

Access to the open circuits and trails of the Falls Area, that is the Upper Circuit, the Lower Circuit, the Devil's Throat walkway and the forest trails, and the Rainforest Ecological Train between the three stations.

How does the Argentine park train work?

It is included in the entry. Collect a free pass at the ticket office in the service courtyard or at Cataratas Station. First departure 8:20, last departure to the Devil's Throat 15:30, last return 17:30; every twenty minutes early on, then every thirty, and every fifteen in high season.

Do I need cash at the gates?

Not for the entries: Brazil is online only and Argentina takes cards at the gate as well as cash. Parking, lockers and snacks are easier with some local cash in each currency.

How long does the Argentine side take?

A full day. The park gives ninety minutes to each of the Upper and Lower Circuits; add the train rides and the Devil's Throat walkway, and most visitors use five to seven hours.
