When to book Iguazu Falls tickets, and do they sell out?

Book the Argentine side as soon as your date goes on sale, thirty days before the visit, because the entry is for a fixed day and time slot and cannot be changed afterwards. The Brazilian park sells a limited number of entries per day and entry time, online only, so book it once your dates are fixed. Our calendar shows each park's availability; a day we cannot confirm says so instead of showing it as sold out.

In short

  • Argentina: on sale thirty days before the visit, for a fixed day and time slot
  • Brazil: limited entries per day and entry time, sold online only
  • Fix your dates first: the Argentine entry cannot be changed after purchase
  • Our calendar marks days it cannot confirm; it never shows them as sold out

When each side goes on sale

  • Argentina: entries are enabled thirty days before the chosen date, each for a day and a time slot
  • Brazil: entries are limited and sold online only, each for a day and an entry time
  • With the Both Sides ticket you choose a date and time for each park; most visitors do one side per day
The Argentine entry cannot be modified after purchase. Plan the order of your two days with Brazil side or Argentina side before you book.

What our calendar shows

  • Available: the park has entries for that day and time
  • Few left: shown only when the park publishes how many entries remain
  • Sold out: the park has no entries for that day and time
  • Check availability: we could not confirm that day; it is never shown as sold out
  • Not on sale yet: outside each park's sales window

We check every reservation against the latest availability before you pay, and we never offer a waiting list for entries the parks control. See the calendar on the Both Sides ticket.

If your date is not available

  • Try another entry time the same day: each time slot has its own availability
  • Swap the order of the two sides: the Brazilian and Argentine dates are independent
  • Check again later: the calendar updates as the parks' availability changes

Questions

How far ahead can I book the Argentine side?

Thirty days before the visit: that is when the park enables the date.

Do Brazilian tickets sell out?

The park sells a limited number of entries per day and entry time. Our calendar shows whether a time is available, has few left or is sold out when the park publishes it.

What does 'check availability' mean?

That we could not confirm that day with fresh data. It is not sold out; we do not sell it until we can confirm it.
