How to get to Iguazu Falls: both parks and the border

The Brazilian park is on the BR-469 road at kilometre 18 from Foz do Iguaçu; city bus line 120 runs there from the urban bus terminal, and the ticket includes the park's own buses to the trail. The Argentine park is on National Route 101 at kilometre 142, eighteen kilometres from Puerto Iguazú, with a bus from the town's bus terminal every twenty minutes. The two towns are joined by the Tancredo Neves international bridge.

In short

Between the two sides

Foz do Iguaçu and Puerto Iguazú are joined by the Tancredo Neves international bridge, an international border crossing: carry the passport you used for the tickets. Most visitors do one side per day and stay on either side of the border; first time at Iguazu Falls explains the order.
